How we protect athlete data, ensure verification integrity, and maintain responsible performance information practices.

What Verified Means

RSPI Verified results are conducted through approved RS Performance Index testing sessions with calibrated equipment and authorised testers. Organisation Verified results are conducted by authorised organisations. Self-reported results are clearly labelled.

Who Can View Athlete Information

Athlete profiles are never publicly visible unless explicitly set to public by the athlete or guardian. Scouts only see athletes with scout-visible or public profiles. Parents control their child's visibility settings.

How Performance Information is Collected

Performance data is collected through structured testing sessions using defined protocols. Each test has a documented procedure, equipment standard, and measurement method. Raw results are recorded exactly as measured.

How Historical Results are Preserved

Raw testing results are the permanent source of truth. Even if scoring methodology changes, historical raw data is never altered. Each result records the methodology version used to calculate its score.

How Data Permissions Work

Role-based access control ensures parents only see their own children, coaches only see their teams, and scouts only see authorised profiles. Verified results cannot be edited by ordinary users.

How Parents are Involved

Junior athletes require guardian consent for testing and scouting visibility. Parents manage consent settings, control profile visibility, and can request corrections to inaccurate information.

Methodology Versioning

The RS Performance Index methodology is versioned. Historical scores always indicate which methodology version produced them. Scores are never silently recalculated.

Responsible Talent Identification

Scout access is verified and accountable. We do not create simplistic public leaderboards for minors. Discovery tools are designed for responsible, authorised talent identification.
