Athlete Membership vs Performance Testing
Athlete Membership
Gives ongoing access to your performance profile, development tracking, reporting tools and historical results.
Performance Testing
A separate service booked from R499 per athlete. A qualified tester runs the assessment and verified results are added to your profile.
Testing is not included in Athlete Membership. You can book testing at any time — results stay in your profile even if your membership lapses.

Pricing FAQ
Is there a free plan?
RS Performance Index is a subscription platform. Every membership includes performance intelligence tools, longitudinal development tracking and role-specific features. Performance testing is purchased separately.
Does Athlete Membership include performance testing?
No. Physical performance testing is purchased separately. Athlete Membership gives you access to your performance profile, development tracking and reporting tools. Testing is a separate professional service starting at R499 per athlete.
Can I pay annually?
Yes. Athlete, Coach and Scout memberships all offer annual billing at a reduced rate. You save approximately two months' fees compared to monthly billing.
How do Scout memberships work?
Scout access requires both an active Scout Membership AND approved Scout Verification. After purchasing, you submit your verification details. An administrator reviews your application. Only verified scouts can access athlete discovery and protected information.
Why do Scouts require verification?
Verification protects junior athlete information and ensures only legitimate scouts with appropriate credentials can access discovery features. Payment alone does not grant access to protected athlete data.
What happens if my membership expires?
Your premium features are restricted when your membership expires, but your historical performance data is preserved. You can reactivate your membership at any time without losing your data or creating duplicate profiles.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel your membership at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of your current billing period, then premium features are restricted. Historical data is preserved.
Can I reactivate later?
Yes. Cancelled or expired memberships can be reactivated. Your historical testing data and athlete profiles are preserved — no duplicate profiles are created when you return.
Do organisations pay per athlete?
Organisation plans have athlete limits. Organisation Starter supports up to 30 active athletes, and Organisation Pro supports up to 100. Enterprise plans offer custom athlete limits.
How does team testing pricing work?
Team testing is priced per athlete based on squad size: R399 per athlete for 10–19 athletes, R349 per athlete for 20–39 athletes, and custom quotation for 40 or more athletes.
Can schools request custom pricing?
Yes. Enterprise plans support custom commercial arrangements for large schools, clubs, academies and regional structures. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
What happens to my historical performance data if I cancel?
Your historical testing data is preserved when you cancel. You retain access to your account, and reactivating your membership restores full access to all premium features and your complete performance history.
Can I change plans?
Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time. Organisation plans can be upgraded from Starter to Pro, and individual memberships can be changed between billing cycles.
