Current1. Commitment
We treat athlete data as sensitive and apply role-based access, encryption in transit, and safeguards for minor athletes, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
2. Role-based access
Access follows the principle of least privilege. Parents see their athletes, coaches see assigned teams, scouts see only permitted and consented information, and administrators manage platform operations.
3. Minor athletes
Additional protections apply to minors, including guardian consent, restricted visibility and no public indexing of profiles.
4. Data integrity
Original testing measurements remain the authoritative source while lawfully retained. Corrections must preserve provenance and audit history rather than silently replacing the original record. Derived scores record the methodology version used to calculate them.
5. Incident response
We will investigate and respond to suspected data incidents in line with applicable legal requirements, including notifying affected parties where required.
